Boat House Club : Boat House club is one of the most historic places in Nainital and very famous with the tourists. It holds the exclusive rights to allow yachting in the lake. The club is most famous for the lake facing bar as you can enjoy the beautiful scenery with a drink.
Naina Peak : Also known as Cheena peak is the highest peak in Nainital and has an altitude of 2610 meters. Naina peak gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the snow capped Himalayas. And about 6 kms away from the town, it is one of the most visited places in Nainital. And it also gives a bird’s eye view of the town below.
Tiffin Top : Commonly called as Dorothy’s Seat, it is a hilltop sitting atop the Ayarpatta hills. At an altitude of 2292 meters and about 4 km away from the main town, Tiffin Top is a very famous picnic spot.
Tibetan Market : Tibetan market is a shopper’s paradise located on the main mall of Nainital. There is an array of things which could be bought in the market and with proper bargaining skills; you can get yourself a great deal.
Gurney House : Famous for housing Jim Corbett, Gurney House is a very important destination in Nainital. It covered with enigmatic pine and oak trees.

Jhula Devi temple : It is a temple of goddess Durga, very popular with the locals and tourists as well. It’s famous for the thousands of bells it has which have been tied by the devotees to get their wishes fulfilled. Its an approximately 800 centuries old temple.
Chaubhatia Garden : A very famous botanical garden and a fruit research institute constitute the Chaubhatia gardens. One can see the various kinds of exotic flowers and orchids. It’s mostly famous for breeding apples. And it also gives a staggering view of the Himalayas.
Bhalu Dam : One of the major attractions of Ranikhet, Bhalu dam is a small man-made lake which also acts as a reservoir. It is open throughout the year for tourists. And there is a very calm and beautiful garden just besides the dam.
Golf Course : It is a nine-hole golf course amidst the fruit orchards and is supposed to be the second largest natural golf course in the country. Games can be played by paying a nominal fee and even the equipment could be hired.

Anashakti Ashram : It is also known as Gandhi Ashram as Mahatma Gandhi stayed in this ashram for some days in 1929 and wrote his commentary of Anashakti Yog. The ashram is set up in a beautiful environment with the backdrop of the calm mountain ranges.
Baijnath : It’s around 16 km away from Kausani and lies in the Garuda valley. It is a very famous temple on the banks of the river Gomti. One can also feed the fishes inside the temple area. And there is a very big black stone idol of goddess Parvati close to the entrance.

Please note that Moradabad Bypass is a toll road. After crossing the Bypass, take LEFT U-turn for Kashipur and after 1-2 kms the road will take compulsory right turn. Follow the road upto Kashipur and keep going straight for Ramnagar. Once you are at Ramnagar, ask anyone for directions to your resort/hotel.
